In recent months, the Wowpot progressive jackpot network has made impressive strides. The Wowpot jackpot has, for the first time in its history, surpassed the 8-million mark – a milestone for this relatively new game.
Two brand new games offering the chance to win all four jackpot prizes have also been introduced: Sisters of Oz Wowpot and Book of Atem Wowpot. Luck continued: On September 11, another win of 99,268 was achieved, followed by a win of 113,742 on September 15. After a brief pause of six days, a player secured a jackpot of 87,776 on September 21. In total, six Major Jackpots were won in September – a new record for the Wowpot network.
The success streak continued into October. On October 2, a win of 200,308 was achieved, likely in British pounds, as the jackpot was reset to its seed amount of 50,000. Just a week later, on October 9, the jackpot was cracked again, this time with a win of 180,979. Three days later, on October 12, another winner claimed 188,581.
On October 16, the fourth win of the month was reported, amounting to 97,109. With almost two weeks still remaining in October, further wins could follow, perhaps even setting a new record for a single month.
While the Major Jackpot is won more frequently, the Wowpot progressive jackpot is still awaiting its first winner. With its current amount over 8 million and continuing to rise, the question remains: when will this huge prize finally be awarded?
Microgaming keeps the exact odds of winning the jackpot strictly confidential, so there is no way to predict when it will be won. What we do know is that the increasing jackpot amounts and frequent Major Jackpot wins suggest more players are trying out the games – which in turn increases the chances that someone will win the grand prize soon.
While the Wowpot takes the spotlight, it’s important not to overlook the other big jackpots in the Microgaming network. The popular Mega Moolah Jackpot has also reached new milestones. After two wins in September, totaling over 7 million, the jackpot has quickly increased to 5 million.
